Georgia McNeice, 97, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Mrs. McNeice was a native of Fountain Hill and a resident of Hamburg since 1951. She graduated from Fountain Hill High School and worked as a seamstress. Mrs. McNeice was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hamburg for 69 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie McNeice in 1996; her parents, R.B. & Emma Loveless Culp; four brothers, Thomas William “Pete” Culp, Robert Chalmer Culp, Dudley Culp and James Culp and three sisters, Mary Hunter, Alma Gardner and Ellie Godwin.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Akers and husband, Billy Dean, of Hamburg and Cheryl Bellot of White Hall; a son, Robert Don McNeice and wife, Jean, of Lake Village; two sisters, Louise Cox and Ruth Martin, both of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Wayne Bellot and wife, Shawn, Regina Staton and husband, Bobby, Kevin Cotton and Robert McNiece and wife, Shannon; nine great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020, in Pinewood Memorial Park with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating.
Visitation will be 1:45 – 2 p.m., Thursday at the cemetery.
