Freida Lynn Pierce

Freida Lynn Pierce, 73, of Hamburg, died Friday, April 16, 2021, at her residence.  Mrs. Pierce was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1965 graduate of Hamburg High School.  She worked at Johnny’s Muffler Shop for over 25 years, and was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church.  Mrs. Pierce loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Johnnie L. Pierce in 2007 and her mother, Jolene Stanley McGuffey in 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Windy Thurman Jones and husband, David, and Jenny Holloway Harville and husband, Phil; a son, Cody Holloway; her brother, Johnny William Pierce all of Hamburg; seven grandchildren, Whitney Woods, Courtney Harville Smithy, Brayden Harville, Jayden Estelle, Brooklyn Holloway, Paris Holloway and Kamryn Jones; five great-grandchildren, Bryleigh Woods, Brynlee Woods, Laney Breedlove, Tylan Smithy and Creed Smithy; two nieces, Jana Pierce and Mackenzie Pierce, and a nephew, Josh Pierce.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021, at the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Luellen officiating.  Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park.  Pallbearers are Tim Smith, Steve Brooks, John Ware, Bobby Martin, Brandon Woods and Mark Stanley.  Honorary pallbearers are James Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Butch Murphy and her grandsons, Brayden Harville and Jayden Estelle. 

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
