Fred Bozeman, 77, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020, in Crossett. Mr. Bozeman was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg. He served in law enforcement for 25 years and was a member of the Gardner Baptist Church. Mr. Bozeman was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed watching reruns of Sanford and Son and The Andy Griffith Show for hours.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lena Pittman Bozeman, a brother, Lon C. Bozeman, and three sisters, Lydia Stell, Madell Bellott, and Louise Lansdale.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Knight Bozeman; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Bozeman Byrd and husband, Donald, and Pam Bozeman Tanksley and husband, Johnny; three sons, Brian Bozeman and wife, Kelley, Joey Byrd and wife, Austina, and Jonathan Ezell and wife, Karlee; a sister, Maxie Bozeman Carpenter, all of Hamburg; 5 grandchildren, Mandy Jackson Atchley, Michelle Stephenson, Waylon Jackson, Sonja Streeter, and Levi Bozeman; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Friday, September 4, 2020, in the Promise Land Cemetery with Bro. Larry Donaldson and Bro. Waylon Jackson officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Atchley, Johnny Tanksley, and Waylon Jackson.
Visitation will be 9:45 – 10 a.m., Friday at the cemetery.
