Frank Thomas Englerth, 88, of Wilmot, died Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Camden. Mr. Englerth was born on July 22, 1937, in Wilmot and remained a lifelong resident of Ashley County until his final years, when he made his home in Longview on the Saline River. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1955 and went on to work at the Georgia-Pacific #1 Paper Mill, where he remained until his retirement in 1998. An avid bass angler and outdoorsman, Mr. Englerth found great joy in nature and also enjoyed reading. He was known as a loyal friend and a man whose generosity knew no bounds, often giving more than was asked or expected.
He is preceded in death by two sons, Bradley Thomas Englerth in 2004 and infant son, Clark W. Englerth in 1972 and his parents, Bert and Mildred Stephenson Englerth.
He is survived by his son, Mark Englerth of Little Rock; a brother, Bobie Englerth and his wife, Lois, of Hamburg and a sister, Nancy Motley of Spencerport, New York; three grandchildren, Brad Englerth, Megan Tetkoski and Stephen Payne and one great-grandson, Walter Franklin Englerth.
There will be a private family burial in the Wilmot Cemetery.
