Frances Rose Kelley, 84, of Hamburg, died Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Nightingale at Stonegate in Crossett. Mrs. Kelley was a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and a resident of Hamburg for the past 56 years. She was a 1958 graduate of Woodlawn High School in Shreveport. Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker and worked as a Nurses Aid for over 10 years. She was a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Kelley enjoyed bible study, listening to gospel tapes and sewing. She looked forward to spending time loving on her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Addington and Buddy Slaughter; her parents, Fred and Rita Brinson Martin and a brother, John Martin.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Doyle Kelley, Sr., of Crossett; three sons, Richard Addington, Sr., and wife, Pam, of Monticello, Doyle Kelley, Jr., and Timothy Kelley both of Crossett; a daughter, Anne Kelley (Brandon) of Crossett; a brother; Wayne Martin and wife, Rowena, of Pocahontas; 16 grandchildren, Richard Jr., Martha, Ricky, Kimberly, Jesse, Patrick, Andrew, Brent, Hannah, Amanda, Jamie, Sarah, Mark, Matthew, Kassidy and Keri and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lyle Hern and Bro. Joey Meredith officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Glen Pamplin, Jr., Ayden Smith, Richard Bowles, John Dye, L.D. Mason and Jamie Smith.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
