Earlene Livingston, 81, of Hamburg, died Thursday, October 7, 2021, in Little Rock. Mrs. Livingston was a native and lifelong resident of Ashley County. A 1958 graduate of Fountain Hill High School, she worked as a waitress at Sammies Restaurant for over 15 years. The greatest joy in her life was raising kids. She mothered her own children, grandchildren and several others she called “hers”. She truly had an abundance of love for everyone she met. Mrs. Livingston attended Pleasant Lane Baptist Church and was a good Christian Lady who shared the love of God with everyone. One of her biggest desires was to see all of her children, grandchildren and family saved.
She is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Abigail Watson in 2011; her parents, Herman Levi & Frances Deora Godwin Collier and a brother, George Collier in 2003.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Livingston, Jr. and wife, Wanda; a daughter, Tammy Aiken and husband, John, all of Hamburg; a brother, Billy Collier and wife, Debby, of Fountain Hill; her sister-in-law, JoeAnn Collier of Hamburg; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Sunday, October 10, 2021, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Pack and Tommy Boles officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Henry Bissell, Chance Allison, Dewayne Collier, Brandon Collier, Andy Tanksley and Logan Stevens.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
