Doyle Frank Kelley, 82, of Crossett, died Monday, April 28, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Kelley was born July 1, 1942 in Hamburg, a resident of Crossett for the past five years and a former resident of Hamburg for many years. He was a timber cutter and worked for Sanderlin Logging, having retired in 1980, when he became disabled. Mr. Kelley was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, mowing, planting a garden every summer and watching westerns. Mr. Kelley loved spending as much time as possible with his family, children, grandchildren and his beloved dog, Itty Bitty.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Frances Rose Kelley in 2024; a daughter, Kimberly Kelley; two sons, Ricky Addington and Buddy Slaughter; his parents, Jesse and Doris Nelson Kelley; a sister, Evelyn Ilene Kelley Hollis; nine brothers, Leonard Kelley, Clarence Kelley, Everett Eugene Kelley, Bobbie Kelley, Ronnie Kelley, Leroy Kelley, Jack Kelley, Nelson Bartley Kelley and Michael Kelley.
He is survived by a daughter, Anne Kelley of Crossett; three sons, Doyle Kelley, Jr., Timothy Kelley both of Crossett and Richard Addington and his wife, Pam, of Monticello; a brother, Henry Kelley and his wife, Karen, of Valdosta, Georgia; 16 grandchildren, Richard Jr., Martha, Ricky, Kimberly, Jesse, Patrick, Andrew, Brent, Shelby, Amanda, Jamie, Sarah, Mark, Matthew, Kassidy and Keri; numerous great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025, in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. Joey Meredith officiating. Memorials may be made to Hope at Home, PO Box 1001, Crossett, AR 71635.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
