Dorothy Green Mulkey

Dorothy Green Mulkey, 79, of Crossett, died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Nightingale of Crossett Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Mrs. Mulkey was a native of Dermott, a resident of Crossett for the past two years and a former resident of White Hall for most of her life.  She graduated in 1962 from Portland High School and was of the Baptist faith.  Mrs. Mulkey worked as a Custodian for the hotel industry for several years and then worked in the cafeteria for the White Hall School District for many years until she retired.  She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Mozell McCrory; two brothers, Doyle and A.C. McCrory and two sisters, Earnestine Boyd and Vivian Vaughn.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Green Cook of Pine Bluff; a sister, Erline Graham of Tupelo, Mississippi; a special cousin, Earl McCrory and wife, Gloria, of Hamburg; her dear friend, Denise Strange of White Hall; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services are 10 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, in the Montrose Cemetery with Bro. Mike Chain officiating. 

Visitation will be 9:45 a.m. – 10 a.m., Friday at the cemetery.
