Debbie Ford

Debbie Ford, 69, of Crossett, died Monday, July 5, 2021, in Crossett.  Mrs. Ford was a native and lifelong resident of Crossett. She was a homemaker and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Ashley County Medical Center and Pinewood Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home.  Mrs. Ford loved to play the piano. She played for Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church for over 30 years and for many different organizations.  Mrs. Ford was a Southern Baptist and a member of Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church.  She was an honorary member of the Klassy Kruzers and was very active in their annual drive for donations.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alan Ford in 2000; her parents, James Douglas & Rena Ada DuBose Tucker; a brother, Harold Allen Tucker; sisters-in-law, Nancy Tucker and Faylene Tucker and her father-in-law, James R. Ford.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie L. Wells and Nicky Blackwood; her son, James Alan Ford and wife, Amy; her brother, Ronald Dale Tucker and wife, Joann; her mother-in-law, Monte Ford, all of Crossett; four grandchildren, Tanner Wells and wife, Katie, Sydney Wells, Ciara Blackwood and Elizabeth Ford; three great-grandchildren, Korbin, Kendall & Kache and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Lloyd Gibbs and Bro. Ray Hearron officiating.  Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Chris Gill, Bryson Gill, Cole Gill, Ron Tucker, Owen Carpenter, Dillon Pence, Boyett Goodwin and Tucker Carter.  Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Carter, Todd Carter, Morris Herrington, Tim Tucker, James Outlaw, JimBob Godwin, Cooper Ferebee, Mason Goodwin, Zach Goodwin, Parker Ferebee, Trace Tucker and the members of the Klassy Kruzer's. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2 p.m., Wednesday at the church.
