David Cessor

David Cessor, 58, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his residence.  Mr. Cessor was a native of Lake Village; a resident of Hamburg for the past six years and a former resident of Montrose, Arkansas and Phoenix, Arizona. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.  Mr Cessor was a Policeman for the City of Hamburg and Chief of Police for the City of Montrose.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Cessor.

He is survived by a son, James David Cessor, II; a daughter, Sarah Cortez; his mother, Evelyn Harbour Cessor and a brother, John Cessor all of Hamburg; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
