Cynthia Ann Watson Hollis, 82, of Fountain Hill, died Monday, November 28, 2022, at her home. Mrs. Hollis was a native of the Pugh Community in Ashley County, a former resident of Pine Bluff, a resident of Fountain Hill since 1973, and a 1958 graduate of Crossett High School. Mrs. Hollis worked for the First National Bank of Crossett for over 25 years and retired as the Fountain Hill Branch Manager. She was a member of the Eden Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles W. Hollis in 2012; a daughter, Nancy Ann Hollis Monsue in 2019; her parents, William P. and Bessie Turner Watson; two sisters, Minnie L. Watson and Francis Elizabeth “Betty” Watson Bays and five brothers, James Turner Watson, Bobby Glenn Watson, David Watson, Thomas Edwin Watson and William C. Watson.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Dixon and husband, Ricky, of Fountain Hill and Cindy Adams and husband, Ronnie, of Crossett; a sister, Alice Swilley of Texarkana; four sisters-in-law, Billie Sue Watson of Crossett, Mary Sue Watson of Benton, Joyce Watson of Kansas and Hazel Watson of Crossett; a brother and sister-in-law, Glynn and Ruth Riels of Fountain Hill; nine grandchildren, R.J. Dixon and wife, Hannah, Hollis Dixon and wife, Maggie, Mason Dixon, John Dixon, Christy Thomas and husband, Brian, Matthew Adams and wife, Crystal, Kevin Stewart and wife, Kristin, Kolby Stewart and Kason Stewart; nine great-grandchildren, T.J., Colin, Caitlin, Ruston, Paisley Ann, Ranson, Madison, Lucas and Graham and a host of nieces and nephews.
