Claude Riley, Jr., 83, of Hamburg, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mr. Riley was born January 27, 1941 in Crossett, was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1959 graduate of Hamburg High School. He was the owner and operator of Riley Paving, Inc., for 49 years and was an Auctioneer. Mr. Riley was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church and a lifelong member of the Berea Deer Camp.
He is preceded in death by a grandson, Alex James McKinney and his parents, Claud W. and Mary Marie Judkins Riley.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Riley and wife, Robin, and Casey Riley; a daughter, D'Ann Riley McKinney and husband, James; two sisters, Nancy Collins and husband, Larry, and Vickie Stell and husband, Tim, all of Hamburg; eight grandchildren, Lauren Riley, Leslie Stripling and husband, Todd, Madison Graeter and husband, Cameron, Sarah Riley, Hannah Riley, Chelsea Riley, Brooke Gilbert and husband, Zach, and Malorie McKinney; three great-grandchildren, Sophie, Kylie and Ella and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Luellen officiating. Burial will be in the Promise Land Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chuck White, Bobby Griffin, Johnny Pierce, Mark Morris, Todd Stripling and Danny Rial. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Stell, Larry Collins and Mike Ogden. Visitation will be 12:30-1 p.m., Tuesday at the church.
