Clara Ellene Mansfield Barnett

Clara Ellene Mansfield Barnett, 77, of Crossett, died Sunday, June 15, 2025, at her residence in Crossett. Mrs. Barnett was born July 10, 1947 in Monticello, was a resident of Crossett for the past 50 years, a 1965 graduate of Hamburg High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Crossett. She owned and operated her own beauty shop in her home for 52 years.  Mrs. Barnett enjoyed doing yard work, working in her flowers, cooking, traveling and going to the mountains. She loved her family, especially her grandsons, and her yorkies, Bella & Sam.

She is preceded in death by her son, Leonard Michael "Mike" Barnett in 2020; her parents, Odelma and Mildred Hill Mansfield and her son-in-law, H.J. Winslow.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Keith Barnett of Crossett; her daughter, Mechelle Winslow of Little Rock; two sons, Barry Buchner and his wife, Stacy, of Vilonia and Wade Barnett of Crossett; two grandchildren, Hunter and Kyler and her cousins, Narcie, Barbara & Deborah.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Merriweather officiating. Burial will be in Pinewood Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105-9959.

Visitation will be 1:30-2 p.m.,Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
