Charlotte Jean Williams, 79, of Crossett, died Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her residence. Mrs. Williams was born September 14, 1946 in West Monroe, Louisiana, a resident of Crossett for the past 60 years and a former resident of West Monroe, Louisiana. She was a Loan Officer with Timberline Federal Credit Union and a devoted member of South Main Baptist Church in Crossett. Mrs. Williams enjoyed bream fishing, camping, playing cards, traveling with her friends, Allen and Connie Jackson. She loved listening to Conway Twitty, and cherished special outings with her daughter to have their nails done. Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren play sports, family gatherings and going to get frozen yogurt at Andy's.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Ambria Roger Williams in 2024; a son, Ricky Williams in 2025; her parents, George and Maggie Simon Hyle; a sister, Sarah Kasson and a brother, Frank Hyle.
She is survived by a son, Chuck Williams and his wife, Jennifer; a daughter, Jennifer Jordan and her husband, Marty; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Williams all of Crossett; her grandchildren, Nicole Williams and her wife, Tara, Sara Moffatt and her husband, Scott, Kayley Harris and her husband, Ron, Brittany Tims and her husband, Brady, Jayla Myers, Drew Williams and his wife, Shanae, Ben Jordan and Skylar Saseen and his wife, Rebecca; four great-grandchildren, Houston, Tucker, Nash and Dawson and his wife, Taylor; three great-great-grandchildren, Seylor, Abel and Blakellie Rose; many nieces and nephews and her two fur-babies, Dash and Diesel.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the South Main Baptist Church with Bro. Allen Jackson and Drew Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Drew Williams, Scott Moffatt, Ron Harris, Tommy Sturgeon, Brian Martin, Joe Ruesewald and Benji Price. Honorary pallbearers are Tucker Williams, Nash Williams, Houston Moffatt, Ben Jordan, Dawson Harris, Byron Jackson and Allen Jackson. Memorials may be made to the South Main Baptist Church Building Fund, 2801 Main Street, Crossett, AR 71635.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
