Charlotte Elfriede Brown

Charlotte Elfriede Brown, 88, of Hamburg, died Thursday, January 15, 2021, in Lake Village.  Mrs. Brown was a native of Germany, a resident of Hamburg for the past 58 years, a homemaker, and of the Lutheran faith.  Mrs. Brown was very active with the Ashley County Fair Association, where she judged the Art and Garden Exhibits for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Cecil Floyd Brown in 2010; a son, John Brown in 2012; her parents, Joachim and Anna Knitter Löschner and a brother.

She is survived by a son, Gregory “Buster” Brown of Longview, Texas; a daughter, Linda Register of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Brad Register of Dallas, Juliana Register of Texarkana, Texas, and Alex Brown of Hamburg.

A private burial will be in the Centerpoint Cemetery in Drew County.
