Carolyn "Carol" Marie Horton Gifford

Carolyn "Carol" Marie Horton Gifford, 58, of Hamburg, died Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.  Mrs. Gifford was born September 30, 1966 in Canadian, Texas, she moved with her family in 1968 to Nacogdoches, Texas where she grew up until she met her husband, Greg in 1990, and moved to the Shiloh Community. She was the Owner and Operator of SeaArk Western Wear in Monticello and she attended Shiloh Baptist Church. Mrs. Gifford enjoyed fishing, playing cards and working in her yard and with flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benny Ray and Rosa Doris Ploeger Horton and a brother, William Ray "Bill" Horton.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Greg Gifford of Hamburg; her "adopted daughter", Brooke Harper, and her husband, Tyler, and their daughter, Emerson, all of Benton; two sisters, Gail Eddings and her husband, James, and Amelia "Dian" Horton Rodrigues all of Nacogdoches, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
