Carol Acosta, 54, of Eudora, died Sunday, December 24, 2023, at the Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway. Mrs. Acosta was a native of Dermott, a resident of Eudora for the past five years, and a former resident of Wilmot for two years and Little Rock for several years. She was a 1987 graduate of Parkdale High School, a homemaker, and she attended the Parkdale Baptist Church. Mrs. Acosta loved her family and was a loving mother, sister, fiancé and aunt.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Acosta in 2016 and her parents, Doris Calvin “D.C.” Bell and Mary Fostene Bell.
She is survived by three sons, John Acosta of Wilmot, James Acosta and wife Alyssa of Sikeston, Missouri, and Brandon Acosta of Muscadine, Alabama; her fiancé, Todd Haygood of Eudora; and three sisters, Patty Bell and companion, Marcus Peralta of Wilmot, Catherine Tanksley and husband, Donnie of Fountain Hill and Rebecca Tanksley and husband, Reed of Muscadine, Alabama.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
