Bobbie H. Pullin Obituary

Bobbie H. Pullin, 88, of Hamburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Pullin was a native of Hamburg and a former resident of Texas for many years until moving back to Hamburg 55 years ago. She was a Pastor’s Wife for 62 years and was the Manager of the Hamburg Shirt Factory for over 35 years until it closed in 1997. A member of Martinville Baptist Church, Mrs. Pullin was a wonderful Christian lady who enjoyed attending church. She was an excellent cook and kept the recipe for her delicious chicken and dressing a secret until this past year. Mrs. Pullin cherished each member of her family, enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Rev. Charles H. Pullin in 2012; a daughter, Phyllis Jones in 2018; her parents, John T. & Ephie Bell Douglas Judkins; six sisters, Ora Williamson, Marie Riley, Phenton Walker, Mittie Ruth Tucker, Margaret Glaze, and Johnnie Laney; eight brothers, James Judkins, Roland Judkins, Gaston Judkins, Ralph Judkins, Jack Judkins, McCoy Judkins, Richard Judkins and Roy Judkins.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McDonald and husband, Steve, of Hamburg; a son-in-law, Billy Jones of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Wade McDonald and wife, Andi, Hope Shaver and husband, Joey, Vanessa Gilliam and husband, Glenn, and Chuck Jones and wife, Michelle; 11 great-grandchildren, Carson McDonald, Daley McDonald, Cole Shaver and wife, Bailey, Gracie Shaver, Brayden Shaver, Charlie Shaver, Hannah Duncan and husband, Cody, Gabby Gilliam, Kaci Jones, Karly Jones and Karoline Jones and two great-great-grandchildren, Sean Duncan and Riley Cate Shaver.

Funeral services are 10 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2022, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Travis Judkins, Bro. Robin Allen and Bro. Ryan McRae officiating. Burial will be in the Snyder Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wade McDonald, Chuck Jones, Carson McDonald, Joey Shaver, Glenn Gilliam, Cole Shaver and Richard Smith. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home, PO Box 427, Monticello, AR 71655. 

 

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
