Billy Gene Scroggins

Billy Gene Scroggins, 63 of Crossett, died Saturday, October 26, 2019, at the Somerset Senior Living Center in Crossett. Mr. Scroggins was a native of Parkdale, a resident of Crossett for the past nine years, and a former resident of Parkdale for many years. He was a farmer and a member of the Indian Switch Assembly of God Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Kim Weatherford Scroggins in 2014; a daughter, April Scroggins in 1980; his mother, Nora E. Rich Scroggins in 1984 and a sister, Patty Scroggins in 2015.

He is survived by his children, Lindsey Forrest and husband, Stephen, of Crossett, Danielle Shapovalov and husband, Vladimir, of Bel Air, Maryland, Michael Scroggins of Hot Springs and Phillip Scroggins of Benton; his father and step-mother, Billy E. & Betty Scroggins of Monticello; a brother, Freddy Scroggins and wife, Tresia, of Conway; four grandchildren, Braden, Brock & Chloe Forrest and Yulana Shapovalov; several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.

Graveside services are 11 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2019, in the Parkdale Cemetery with Rev. Roger West officiating.
