Beverly Jean Robichaud, 91, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Mrs. Robichaud was a native of Waukegan, Illinois; a resident of the Pine Hill community outside of Hamburg for the past 2 ½ years and a former resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for 40 years. A 1948 graduate of Waukegan High School, she completed four years of college and remained a very active 50 year member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Delta Master. Mrs. Robichaud worked for All-State Insurance Company, having retired as a Supervisor. She was of the Catholic religion and received her last rites. After she married the love of her life, she and her husband were prolific philanthropists and volunteered with numerous charitable organizations. Mrs. Robichaud spent the majority of her retirement working with many charitable causes. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Dan Robichaud; her parents, Joseph and Adeline Jackson and a brother, Joey Jackson.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Hansen of Ontario, California, Michele L. Dion of Bellevue, Idaho and Pamela White of Butler, Pennsylvania; two sons, Jerry Ahrens, II of Texas and Derrick Ahrens, Sr. and wife, Kelly, of Hamburg; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is eternally grateful and extends special “Thanks” to the Ashley County Medical Center Emergency Room Doctors, Nurses and Admitting Staff and to Hospice Home Care in Monticello.
