Benjamin Jason Lee, 51, of Hardy, died Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the CHI St.Vincent Sherwood Rehabilitation Hospital. Mr. Lee was a native of Dermott; a resident of Hardy for the past six years and a 1989 graduate of Sheridan High School. Having worked his way through college helping others at a rehabilitation facility, he graduated in 1997 from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Mr. Lee worked as a Case Worker for the State of Arkansas, a Social Worker in many capacities and would help those who needed it. He retired after an accident while working at Goodwill Industries. He was very creative and intelligent and had purchased a 3-D printer that required him to solve math formulas in order to operate it. Mr. Lee was also talented and could play any instrument and was an amazing artist. He will be remembered as being funny, filled with life and joy, a great man, wonderful brother, loving son and proud father.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Lillian Douglas Lee, Joe Lee Hardin, Jr. and Allie Charles Hardin.
He is survived by his pride and joy, a daughter, Mairead Lee of Bartlett, Tennessee; his parents, Bill and Roxanne Lee of Sheridan; a sister, Alice Riba and husband, Spencer, of East End; a brother, Joseph Lee and wife, Kelly Sue Kirkpatrick-Lee, of Little Rock; a niece, Grace Lillianne Riba and two nephews, Owen William Riba and Samuel Ralph Riba.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022, in the Snyder Cemetery with Bro. David Newberry officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Lawrence Lee, Joseph Lee, Spencer Riba and Fred Riba.
