Barbara Jean Willis, 73, of Crossett, died Friday, April 16, 2021, in Little Rock. Mrs. Willis was a native of Lake Village, a resident of Crossett for over 43 years, and a former resident of Hamburg. She was a 1965 graduate of Hamburg High School. Mrs. Willis worked for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for 30 years and the Hamburg Shirt Factory for many years. She was a member of the North Main Baptist Church in Hamburg. In her spare time, Mrs. Willis enjoyed making crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dale Willis in 2017 and her parents, John Henry and Margie Crim Rowe.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby Willis and wife, Lori, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Paul Willis and wife, Christine, of Ludowici, Georgia; a sister, Charlotte Cunningham of Hamburg; a brother, Lamar Rowe of Snyder; four grandchildren, John Willis, Danyael Willis, Zoey Willis, and Emila Willis and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bodie Spicer officiating. Burial will be in the Portland Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Willis, Heath Cunningham, Austin Pennington, Scott Pennington, Steven Harper, Jared Pippen and Mark Tomerlin.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
