Audrey N. Kelley

Audrey N. Kelley, 86, of Hamburg, died Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Audrey’s Special Home south of town. Mrs. Kelley was a native of Blytheville, a former resident of Chicot County for five years and a resident of Hamburg for 67 years. She was a 1955 graduate of Fountain Hill High School and worked as a Beautician for over 20 years. Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. She loved going fishing and Mr. Billy often said, "You had to fish hard to beat her." She enjoyed cooking, camping, had a green thumb and loved working in the yard with her flowers.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Bro. Danny Morgan Kelley and Darrell McGilton Kelley; a granddaughter, Stephanie Kelley; her parents, Elsworth and Inez Allison McGilton; two brothers, Kenneth McGilton and Glyn McGilton and two sisters, Imogene Mitchell and Fran Gifford.

She is survived by her husband of almost 67 years, Billy F. Kelley; a daughter, Deanna Foster and husband, Jeff; a brother, Noel Dean McGilton and wife, Carolyn, all of Hamburg; two sisters, Mary Gifford of Fountain Hill and Shirley Carter of Magnolia, Texas; three grandchildren, Staci Hargrave and husband, Jarrod, Liz Mattice and husband, Shawn, and Daniel Foster and wife, Amber; five great-grandchildren, Westin, Natalie, Jett, Henley and John Thomas; a daughter-in-law, Janette Kelley of Warren; three sisters-in-law, Martha Lauhon and husband, Dale, of Hamburg, Bonnie Kelley of Little Rock and Shirley Gwen McGilton of Mississippi and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2 p.m., Sunday, May 28, 2023, at the Promise Land Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Josh Luellen officiating. Memorials may be made to the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church or the Don Kelley Memorial Children's Playground, 765 Ashley Road 70, Hamburg, AR  71646.

Visitation will be after the graveside service in the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church Family Life Center.
