Ann L. Allison, 74, of Hamburg, died Friday, October 15, 2021, in Little Rock. Mrs. Allison was a native of Ashley County, a resident of Hamburg for many years and a graduate of Portland High School. She worked for several years as the bookkeeper for Harry Allison Logging Company, and then she worked at Walmart for five years. Mrs. Allison was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and an avid New Orleans Saints fan.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Harry Wayne Allison in 2004; a daughter, Shelia Janice Allison in 1973; her parents, Lovell & Nell Chatham Sheiron and two sisters, Martha Sheiron in 2009 and Amelia Fay Sheiron McCone in 2012.
She is survived by two sons, Jason Allison and wife, Tammy, and David Allison all of Hamburg; a sister, Kathryn Sheiron of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Dustin Allison, Jaci Terry and husband, Toby, Drew Allison and wife, Destiny, and Malorie Gossman and husband, Mack, and five great-grandchildren, Brennon, Ellenie, Adley, Ava and Ellorie.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021, in Beech Creek Cemetery with Rev. Colby Harper and Rev. Richard West officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Wade McCone, Mike McCone, John Gee, Jack Gee and Jay Branstetter. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2 p.m., Sunday at the cemetery.
