Albert Boyd Kusturin, 67, of Junction City, died Saturday, February 14, 2026 at his residence. Mr. Kusturin was born January 8, 1959 in Monticello, a resident of Junction City for the past 25 years and a former resident of Hamburg. After he graduated in 1977 from Hamburg High School, he continued his education and graduated from the Forest Echoes Technical Institute, now the University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-Crossett, as a licensed Refrigeration Technician. Mr. Kusturin taught at Forest Echoes Technical Institute for many years as well as being the owner and operator of Kusturin Refrigeration for several years. He was a Christian and attended Egypt Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Kusturin was known to have a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh, music, cooking, and playing the guitar. He loved people, was always helpful and giving but most of all, he dearly loved his family, especially his children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Kusturin and Joann Lott Simms.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Paula Webb Kusturin of Junction City; a daughter he lovingly called "Baby Girl", Lauren Renee Kusturin of Junction City; a son, Stephen Webb and his wife, Derosia, of Salisbury, Maryland; his step-father, Bill Simms of Haughton, Louisiana; two sisters, Laurie Kusturin Golson of Haughton, Louisiana and Danee Duke of Monroe, Louisiana and many friends and extended relatives.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026 in the Egypt Cemetery with Bro. Randy Rutledge officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home to assist with Mr. Kusturin's funeral expenses.
