Tanya Lynn Hawk

Tanya Lynn Hawk, 28, of Columbus, Texas, died Monday, December 4, 2017 at her residence.  Tanya was a native of Rumford, Maine; a resident of Columbus, Texas for the past five years and a former resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana. She was a 2007 graduate of Dirigo High School in Dixfield, Maine and she worked in the fast food industry. She was a devoted mother to her son and loved him more than anything.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Morris and Lillian Curtis Cunningham and her grandmother, Florence Smith.

She is survived by a son, Domynick La’sean Hawk of Columbus, Texas; her father, Donald Hawk of Canton, Maine; her mother and father, Angela Payne and Johnny Payne of Columbus, Texas; six sisters, Tamara Lara and husband, Oscar, of Haughton, Louisiana, Amber Stern of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Sarah O’Neal and husband, Christopher, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Tara Hawk of Columbus, Texas, Kindell Church  and husband, Chris, of Ellinger, Texas and Jessica McClendon and husband, Nicholas, of Bastrop, Texas; her grandparents, John and Donna Payne of Columbus, Texas and Beulah Bond of Salem, Missouri; special aunt and uncle, Sharon and Frank Lovette of Redfield, Arkansas and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Coulter officiating. 

Visitation will be 12-1 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
