Peggy Hill Kilcrease, 76, of Hamburg, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Mrs. Kilcrease was a native of Ashley County and she lived in the Trafalgar Community, Portland and the Promise Land Community all of her life. She graduated from Portland High School in 1958. She worked for the Department of Human Services for 36 years and she was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, E. A. Hill and Gladys Ricks Hill Swan; a sister, Betty Hill Sonnier; two brothers, James Hill and an infant, Son Hill.
She is survived by two daughters, Jaci Kilcrease of Hamburg and Nola Gober of Monticello; two sons, Rusty Kilcrease of Hamburg and Blaine Kilcrease and wife, Anita, of Trafalgar; nine grandchildren, Amber Kilcrease, Derek Kilcrease, Kandice Kilcrease, Jeffery Harris, Kara Gober, Justin Gober, Jordan Sansing, Brittany Bostian Kilcrease and Dustin Kilcrease, nine great-grandchildren, a niece, a nephew and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Luellen and Bro. Trey Emory officiating. Burial will be in the Trafalgar Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mitch Nolan, Barry Todd Nolan, Calvin Nolan, Terry Womack, Derek Kilcrease and Mike Croswell. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
