Patricia “Pat” Aldridge, 76, of Wilmot, died Sunday, April 21, 2019. Mrs. Aldridge was a native of Grady, a resident of Wilmot for the past 17 years and a former resident of Portland for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Portland Baptist Church, where she helped with the Mission Friends Program for many years. Mrs. Aldridge enjoyed working in her garden, feeding her hummingbirds and going fishing. She loved spending time with her family, often cooking delicious meals for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover Lee and Zula Bell Davis Watkins; a brother, Leon Watkins and two sisters, Helen Waddle and Martha Brown.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of almost 57 years, Charles W. Aldridge of Wilmot; her children, Darin Aldridge and wife, Debra, of Wilmot, Amanda Murdaugh and husband, Richard, of Portland and Jennifer Winters and husband, Shannon, of Deer Park, Texas; a sister, Catherine Tuck of Spokane, Washington; eight grandchildren, Shawnda Aldridge, Zac Aldridge, Kaurie Winters, Tinley Winters, Brentley Murdaugh, Rick Murdaugh, Ashley James and Michelle Shackleford; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Chicot Memorial Medical Center and Hospice Home Care for their love and care of Mrs. Pat.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carl Mason officiating. Graveside services are 3 p.m., Wednesday, in the Lonoke Cemetery, Lonoke, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Spencer Aldridge, Mike Watkins, Billy Sellers, Spencer Dupuy, Bradyn Dupuy, and Craig Dupuy. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
