Mitchel White, III

Mitchel White, III, 61, of Hamburg, died Sunday, July 7, 2019.  Mr. White was a native and resident of Hamburg for most of his life and a former resident of Bossier City, Louisiana.  He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1976, and attended the University of Central Arkansas.  He worked as a Superintendent in the oil field and was a member of the Hamburg First United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mitchel White, Jr. in 2015; his grandparents, Jessie & Ollie Allison Morman and M.B. & Etta White.

He is survived by a son, Sawyer White of Bossier City, Louisiana; his mother, Elese Morman White of Hamburg; a sister, Jean White of North Little Rock; three nieces, Heather Franks, Michele McCutcheon, and Sara McCutcheon Slay and five great-nephews.

A private burial was held Monday, July 8, 2019, in the Cleveland Cemetery.  A private family celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
