Marjorie Rogers, 85, of Crossett, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett. Mrs. Rogers was a native of Huttig and a resident of Crossett for over 60 years. She was a homemaker, a member of the Eden Baptist Church and she loved spending time with her family and church family, reading her Bible and watching cooking shows.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Louise Hudson in 2011; her parents, Henry Anderson & Birdie Bell Hays Gilmore and a sister, Myrna Danley.
She is survived by a son-in-law, Billy Hudson of Hamburg; two grandchildren, Bryan Hudson and wife, Amy, of Hamburg and Christy Pullin and husband, Timmy, of Crossett and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial are 10 a.m., Friday, July 21, 2017 in the Strong Cemetery with Rev. J.W. Dobbins officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Roy Hudson, Jim Hudson, Chad Hudson, Kenny Dunemn, David Rochester and Alan Chavis. Memorials may be made to the Eden Baptist Church, 3748 HWY 133 N., Hamburg, AR 71646.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
