Linda King Kinnaird

Linda King Kinnaird, 71, of Hamburg, died Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Mrs. Kinnaird was a native and life long resident of Hamburg and a resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee for the past two years.  She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1965, was a homemaker and a Librarian for the Ashley County Library for 17 years. Mrs. Kinnaird was a member of the Gardner Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church for many years.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing on her iPad.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Griffin and Emma Hazel Bonds King; two brothers, Charles G. King and Billy Glen King and three sisters, Betty Sue King, Nila Janell King, and Janice Ann King Sivils.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Calvin W. Kinnaird and her son, Jeff Kinnaird, both of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Funeral services are 10 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Colby Harper and Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating.  Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Mitch Stanley, Gene Bates, James Short, Greg Maxwell, Alan Maxwell, and Jamie Mondragon.  Memorials may be made to the Stones River Manor Benevolence Fund, 205 Haynes Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37129-5101. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
