Linda Stewart

Linda Stewart, 70, of Crossett, died Saturday, May 18, 2019.  Mrs. Stewart was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a resident of Crossett for the past 50 years.  She worked for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for 20 years and was a member of the Egypt Missionary Baptist Church.  Mrs. Stewart enjoyed fishing, working in her garden, camping, motorcycle riding and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Lee & Ida Mae Reyonlds Petty and a daughter-in-law, Holly Michelle Stewart.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, LM Stewart of Crossett; her sons, Johnie Stewart and wife, Alicia, of Hamburg and Troy Stewart of Crossett; a brother, Clifford Lee Petty and wife Melba of Bastrop, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Blake Stewart and wife, Bethany, John Michael Stewart and Zachary Stewart and wife, Lindsey and two great-grandchildren, Bentley and River Stewart.

Funeral services are 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the Egypt Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Rose officiating.  Burial will be in the Egypt Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Blake Stewart, John Michael Stewart, Zachary Stewart, Tony Craig, James Smith and Kenneth Box. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the church.
