Kenneth Harold Wesson

Kenneth Harold Wesson, 68, of Hamburg, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.  Mr. Wesson was a native and life long resident of Hamburg.  He worked for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for 33 years, was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by a son, Robert Wesson in 2014; a granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Wesson; his parents, Everett and Geraldine Smith Wesson; a sister, Ellon Stell; a brother, Lewis Wesson and a son-in-law, Ted Franklin.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Annette Tanksley Wesson; a daughter, Alicia Powell and husband, Bo; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Kelley Wesson two brothers, Robert Wesson and Royce Wesson and wife, Brenda, all of Hamburg; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Tanksley of Crossett;  9 grandchildren, Lane, Katelynn, Nick, Dustin, Rhiannon, Amy, Cody, Moreland and Alex and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Wesson officiating.  Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Bo Powell, Billy Tanksley, Jeff Tanksley, Johnny Tanksley, Billy Bassett, Frank Wesson, Ray Wesson and David Wesson.  Honorary pallbearers are Cody Franklin, Nick Wesson, Dustin Wesson, Chris Walter and Alex Powell.   

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
