Joey Pollock, 32, of Hamburg, died Thursday, September 5, 2019, in Hamburg. Joey was a native of Bastrop, Louisiana and lifelong resident of the Berlin Community South of Hamburg. He was a truck driver, and he attended Harmony Baptist Church. Joey loved caring for his mother and enjoyed riding four-wheelers. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Holland Hill Hunting Club.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Jamie Pollock in 2008; his grandparents, Willie Ray & Elsie Mae West Pollock and Harland Sr. & Barbara McDaniels Abernathy.
He is survived by his children, Judy & Gavin Pollock of Pine Bluff; his parents, Ricky & Dowana Abernathy Pollock; a brother, Josh Pollock and wife, Stacy, all of Hamburg and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Monday, September 9, 2019, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, on the Berlin Road, with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers are Henry Bissell, Mark West, Mitch West, Trapper Holland, Will Kinnaird, and Luke Holland. The family suggests memorials be made to Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home, Inc., PO Box 28, Hamburg, AR 71646.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the church.
