Homer C. Walker, 63, of Crossett, died Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Lake Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Walker was a native and lifelong resident of Crossett. He graduated from Crossett High School in 1972 and he worked for Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill for over 30 years. He was a Baptist.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Jeanette Hall Walker and his father, Robert Lee Walker.
He is survived by three sisters, Patricia Robinson and husband, Sonny, of Crossett, Janice Bland and husband, Jerry, of Lake Village and Shirley Scallion of Greenbrier; two brothers, George Walker of Lake Village and Robert Walker Jr., of Greenbrier and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be 3 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 in the Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Mike Griffith officiating. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
Visitation will be 12:30 – 2 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
