Gary Dale Willis, 73, of Crossett, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mr. Willis was a native of Fountain Hill; a resident of Crossett since 1980 and a former resident of Hamburg. He worked for Georgia-Pacific Corporation Paper Mill for 40 years having retired in 2007. He was a member of the North Main Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bailey & Annie Sharp Willis; two brothers, Gerald & Kenneth Wayne Willis and a sister, Helen Kathleen Walker Mann.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Rowe Willis of Crossett; two sons, Bobby Willis and wife, Lori, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Paul Willis and wife, Christine, of Columbus, Georgia; a brother, Charles Willis and wife, Julia, of Demopolis, Alabama; two sisters, Norma Ray of Meridian, Mississippi and MaryJo Humphrey of Alexandria, Louisiana; four grandchildren, John, Danyael, Zoey and Emila Willis.
The family will have visitation 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
