Sheila, Uncle Ralph & all Family Members,

We are saddened to hear that Uncle Floyd has slipped away from this earthly realm yet we feel joyful knowing he is now in the presence of Jesus and all his loved ones who have gone before. Uncle Floyd had a profound influence on my life in many ways. His Godly influence was the most important. He bought me my first bass guitar, let me go with him to gospel singings any time a wanted, taught me and my siblings to sing harmony as well as being a friend of our family as long as I can remember. I will never forget him or the part he played in my early life.

We pray the Lord sends His comforting Holy Spirit to come along side and strengthens you all in this time of loss.

Love,
Bob & Tamara Burt

My heart goes out to Sheila, Luke, Lainey Grace, and Ralph. Mr Floyd (Uncle Floyd to my family) was a very special man who has been a part of our family for a very long time. He was such a great example of a Christian Man - His greatest desire was to be a witness for The Lord. He will be remembered by many for his singing abilities - he had a beautiful voice that he used to worship The Lord. He could make a piano "sing" - not only by tuning it properly but by playing it! He was a big part of Griffis House of Music - he was there almost as much as my Mom was! I am so thankful I was able to visit with Floyd and Sheila while I was in Crossett week before last. He knew then that he was about to transition into Heaven and assured me he was ready to go whenever God was ready to take him. I rejoice with Sheila that Floyd is worshiping at the feet of Jesus now. I can imagine him singing praises to Our Lord. Lord, please comfort Sheila and the family as they go through these difficult times. May they find comfort, strength and peace in Your Arms, Lord. Thank you, Lord for placing Floyd Lott in my life and teaching me so much about You through his daily life.
