Carol Russell, 72, of Boydell, died Saturday, August 24, 2019, in Little Rock. Mrs. Russell was a native of Lake Village and a resident of Boydell for the past 35 years. She graduated from Dermott High School, was a homemaker and worked for Burlington Industries and Sunbeam. Mrs. Russell attended the Montrose Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, raising cattle, and working in her yard.
She is preceded in death by her patents, S.E. and Johnnie Nighten White and a brother, Chuck White.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ricky Russell of Boydell; her daughter, Elizabeth Owens of Monticello; two step-daughters, Sudie Brockman of Star City and Chastity Bowden of Monticello; two brothers, Jack White of Warsaw, Missouri and Denny White of Heber Springs; two sisters, Betty Daugherty of Warsaw, Missouri and Shirley Berryman of Monticello; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 3 p.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in the Dermott Cemetery. Pallbearers are Robert Bowden, Doug Brockman, Coty Bolen, Rick Young, Dylan Bowden, and Wyatt Bowden. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. P.O.
