Betty Claire Doss, 68, of Wentzville, Missouri, formerly of Crossett, died Friday, February 3, 2017. She was born June 16, 1948 in Crossett, to Bruce and Frances Williford. Betty Claire was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Mary Lynne Williford and her brother, Bruce Whitten Williford. She was the widow of Kenneth L. Harrison of Crossett.
Betty Claire was a graduate of Crossett High School and attended Texas Women’s University, The University of Mississippi and The University of Arkansas at Monticello. She was a longtime typist for the Ashley News Observer and more recently a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald G. Doss; a daughter, Pandora Stafford and husband, Brad; a son; Chris Harrison and wife, Natalie, all of Wentzville, Missouri; six grandchildren, Claudia and Daniel Stafford; Conner, Alicia, Madelyn and Noah Harrison; a brother, Gary McClain and wife, Joyce, of Weldon Spring, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Nancy Williford of West Monroe, Louisiana; three nephews, Mark Williford, Kevin McClain and Craig McClain and a niece, Cherri Allenbach.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2017 at Hamburg Cemetery with Rev. Greg Comer officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, AR 72207 or World Vision, PO Box 9716, Federal Way, WA 98063
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
