Winona Dell Bierbaum

Winona Dell Bierbaum, 73, of Mars Hill, North Carolina, died Friday, February 27, 2015.  Miss Bierbaum was a native Hamburg, Arkansas; a resident of Mars Hill since 1966 and a former resident Prairie Grove, Arkansas.   She was a retired college professor having taught at Mars Hill University.  She was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert William and Esther Haney Bierbaum and Walter and Bertie Bierbaum, who raised her.

She is survived by a sister, Charlotte Bierbaum Cunningham; a nephew, Charles Cunningham both of San Bernardino, California; two cousins, Billy Bierbaum and wife, Beulah, and Henry Bierbaum and wife, Lucille; a special nephew, James Thompson and wife, Sherri, all of Hamburg.

A private graveside service will be in the Hamburg Cemetery at a later date.
