Sybil Elizabeth Bolin Brown Taylor

            Sybil Elizabeth Bolin Brown Taylor, 89, of Mayflower, died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Arkansas Hospice Center in Little Rock.  Mrs. Taylor was a native of Ashley County; a resident of Mayflower for the past eight years; a former resident of Little Rock for 49 years and a former resident of Pine Bluff and El Dorado.  She worked for Safeway Grocery Stores for over 20 years and she was a member of the Sunset Lane Baptist Church in Little Rock.  She was a strong little Scot-Irish lady full of spunk and wit.  She loved the Lord and her family with a passion, remaining strong till the very end.

            She is preceded in death by her husbands, Delford D. Taylor in 1981 and Buford Brown in 1944; a son, Ronald Delaine Taylor in 2011; her mother, Vera Upshaw Bolin; her father and step-mother, Roy and Elena Bolin; a brother, Harold Wayne Bolin and two sisters, Maxie Dell Ballard and Francis Young.

            She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Nosal and husband, Ed, of Hensley; two sons, Jimmy Dale Taylor and wife, Phyillis, of Sheridan and Gregory Scott Taylor and wife, Linda, of Little Rock; a brother, Keith Bolin of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy Arendt and Margaret Johnston both of Little Rock; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services are 10 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Eden Baptist Church with Rev. Ellis Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Donnie Ballard, Danny Ballard, Steve Arendt, Randy Ballard, Jason Shirey and Adam Shirey.  Honorary pallbearers are Zach Taylor, Jase Shirey, Todd Durham and Sean Durham.  

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
