I am so sorry. I enjoyed Ms. Witherington's company while I was going thru my CNA clinical hours at Stonegate. She and I would talk for hours. She was truely a blessing and sge tild me that one day she was talking to God and aasked him for a blessing. She said I walked in and I was her blessing. I gave her a white angel made from string that she loved. She wanted me to get the lady that made it to teach her and I could never arrange to get her to the nursing home. She would call me from time to time asking when was I come back to visist her. Sadly life got busy and I didnt make it back before she passed. To her family I want you to know that I loved her so much.

My Daddy, Dewey F. Stephenson was in Stonegate for about 5 years before he passed away in September 2016. I met Ms. Witherington at Stonegate and we talked about her talent and her music. I loved to hear her plan and often she would play and one of the employees would sing. It was lovely! My Daddy and all our family really enjoyed our visits and the music! I am sure she is playing with the angels in heaven, as we speak!

Philip, Warner, and David, I am so saddened by the loss of Steena. I talked to her recently and I am glad that I was able to tell her what she meant to me all those years ago. I knew she was very sick and missed your dad so much. She is at peace now and I hope you find comfort in that. I am praying for you all.

Steena, you are leaving a big hole in our hearts by going home to be with A.D. What life the 2 of you had. Now your are together again and you are our angels to watch over us.
