Shelma Holland Craig, 77, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Mrs. Craig was a lifelong resident of the Milo Community outside of Hamburg. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Craig; a great-grandson, Kyle Craig; a daughter-in-law, Gwen Craig; her parents, Ottice & Armetta Doss Holland and a sister, Janis Carol Sunderland.
She is survived by a daughter, Kim Bowden and husband, Mark, of Fountain Hill; two sons, Timmy Craig of Hamburg and Barry Craig and wife, Tina, of Whitehall; two sisters, Karon Stanley and husband, James, of Monticello and Reba Holland of Greenbrier; seven grandchildren, Casey Craig, Anna Bowden, Brittany Adcock, Heather Talley, Craig Bowden, Dalton Craig and Madison Craig and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Boseman officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery. Pallbearers are Pat Allison, Danny Wade Rice, Lane Culp, James Robert Meeks, Clint Stanley and Neal Stanley. Honorary pallbearers are John Richardson, Jimmy Meeks, Bob Rush and Don Fletcher. Memorials may be made to the Eden Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. Jerry Stanley, 747 HWY 8 West, Hamburg, AR 71646.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the church.
