Richard Miller, Sr., 69, of Wilmot, died Monday, August 10, 2015 at his residence in Wilmot. Mr. Miller was a native of Baltimore, Maryland; a resident of Wilmot for the past eight years and a former resident of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina for most of his life. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and he was a Carpenter. He was an outdoors man and loved to fish, hunt and saltwater fishing was his true love.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Irene Crigger Miller and a sister, Atha (Bootsie) Odell Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Becky Morrison Miller of Wilmot; two sons, Richard (Ricky) Miller, Jr. of Huger, South Carolina and Brian Easler of St. Petersburg, Florida; three daughters, Tina Naylor of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Lisa Easler of Portland, Oregon and Megan Easler of Greenville, South Carolina; a brother, John Miller of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be 5-7 Thursday at his home in Wilmot.
