Renee Slaughter Johnson, 46, of Hamburg, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Mrs. Johnson was a native and life long resident of Hamburg. She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1988 and she was a member of the Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She loved riding horses, listening to music and going boating.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Houston Johnson in 2001; her grandparents, Wilson McCrory and Siscily McCrory Cecil and Doc and Lovettie Pruitt Slaughter.
She is survived by her parents, Bobby & Della McCrory Slaughter of Hamburg and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Carlton White and Bro Kenny Bolin officiating. Pallbearers are Tony Craig, Stan Craig, Wayne Allen, Phillip Allen , Jason Sanders and Billy Wayne Streeter. Burial will be in the Crossroad Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
