Marguerite Johnston, 82, of Crossett, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Pinewood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett. Mrs. Johnston was a native of Fountain Hill; a resident of Crossett since 1989 and a former resident of Hazen for many years. She was a retired Dental Assistant.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Jack Johnston in 2014; her parents, Clinton and Ruby Green Phillips; three brothers, Clinton, Charlie and Ed Phillips and two granddaughters, Nicole Johnston and Marcie Rankin.
She is survived by a daughter, Stacy Baker and husband, Jon, of Atlanta, Georgia; three sons, Phillip Johnston and wife, Jobie, of Clinton, Dickie Johnston of Devalls Bluff and Chris Johnston and wife, Mary Jane, of Fountain Hill; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Phillips of Crossett and Frank Phillips of St. Louis, Missouri; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in the Pinewood Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. George Hart officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s, PO Box 1000, Dept., 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
There will be no visitation.
