Kelly Douglas “Boo” Menendez, III, 21, of Crossett, died Friday, August 25, 2017 in Crossett. He was a native and life long resident of Crossett. He attended Crossett High School and was a member of Freedom Ministries Church. Kelly loved his family and family was very important to him. He had a heart of gold, was a jokester and was known for playing jokes on his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by a niece, Kaitlynn Jane Kelley, an uncle, Jason Lyles, his best friend, Mikey Navarro and his grandfather, Kelly Menendez, I.
He is survived by his fiancé, McKenzi Smith of Bastrop, Louisiana; a daughter that will arrive in October 2017, McKenli Grace; a son, Kelly Menendez IV of Crossett; his mother and step-father, Wendy Harper and Scott Harper of Bastrop, Louisiana; his father, Kelly Menendez, II, of Crossett; two sisters, Paiton Creekmore and husband, Ethan, of Hamburg and Madison Stevens of Bastrop, Louisiana; his grandparents, Patty & Telford Norman, Jimmy & Janet Kelley all of Hamburg and Pat Lewis of Russellville; his great-grandmother, Angeline Menendez of Bogalusa, Louisiana; four uncles, Jimmy Don Kelley of Hamburg, Jonathon Kelley and wife, Janet, of Louisiana, Mark Kelley and wife, Shayna, of Fountain Hill and Kyle Bouldin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven nieces, Morgan & Jasci Kelley, Audi, Clarity & Bentleigh Creekmore, Riley & McKinley Bouldin and a host of other family and friends.
