Kathryn “Kathy” Land Brown, 45, of Lexington, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, Tennessee.  Kathy was a native of Crossett and a resident of Crossett for many years. She was a resident of Lexington, Tennessee for the past 14 years, a 1991 graduate of Crossett High School and the manager at the Shoe Show Store for 14 years.  Raising her son and family were everything to her and she was willing to take on any challenge.   She was an active person, enjoyed the outdoors and she loved life.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Elise Land, G.W. & Auline Hudson and Myrtis Hudson.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Luke Brown; a daughter, Judyth Brianne Clark both of Lexington, Tennessee; four sons, James Dillan Brown of Lexington, Tennessee, Bryan Luke Clark and wife Allyson  of Sterlington, Louisiana, Dakota Brown of Hamburg and Cole Ramsey of El Dorado;  her parents, James & Ola Hudson Land of Crossett; two brothers, Gregory Winn and wife, Nicole, of Strong; James Land, Jr., and wife, Casey, of Crossett; a sister, Susie Haseloff and husband, Robert, of Brandon, Mississippi; a granddaughter, McKenzie Ramsey, five nephews and six nieces.

Graveside services are 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Farrell Breashears officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Johns, Jason Rice, Chris Rice, Russ Meeks and Tyler Lucas. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Harrah’s Hope Lodge, 718 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN  38103.  

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
