Joy Lynette Nutter, 55, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at her residence. Ms. Nutter was a native and life long resident of Hamburg. She graduated from Hamburg High in 1978. She worked at Jade Grocery Store and the Dollar General Store. She enjoyed fishing, working in her yard, planting flowers, thrift stores and taking care of her dogs.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifton and Vergie Douglass and Walter and Julia Wigley.
She is survived by a son, Doug Nutter; a daughter, Ashley Savage and her husband, Joseph; her parents, W.M. & Charlotte Douglass Wigley all of Hamburg; a sister, Mary Ann Galvin of Johnson City, Tennessee and three grandchildren, Dakota, Leland and William Savage.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2015 at the funeral home. A private service will be held at a later date.
