Jesse Lee West, Sr.

           Jesse Lee West, Sr., 74, of Parkdale, died Monday, July 27, 2015 at the St. Francis Specialty Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana.  Mr. West was a native of St. Charles, Arkansas and a resident of Parkdale and Wilmot for 40 years.  He was a farmer, an avid sportsman and a member of the Owl City Hunting Club in Ethel, Arkansas.  He was a member of the Parkdale Baptist Church and an avid Razorback fan.

            He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Laura Dell Dawson West in October 2014 and his parents, Henry & Lula Mae Padgett West.

            He is survived by a son, Jesse West, Jr., and wife, Cristy, of Parkdale; a daughter, Kelly Fisher and her fiancé, C.F. (Bubba) Robbins of Portland; three grandchildren, Brandy Ryals and husband, Enoch, of Pearidge, Dustin Fisher of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Augustus West of Wilmot; two great-grandchildren, Abby and Jake Ryals; a brother, Don West  and wife, Vikki, of Crocketts Bluff and his children, Farrah Jones and Natalie West; a special niece, Zada Koen and husband, Chris, of Dewitt; two great-nephews, Brad Koen and wife Kelli, and Clint Koen and wife, Jules, and six great-great nieces and nephews, Katie Koen, Taylor Koen, Bill Koen, Grayson Koen, Cale Koen and Siems Koen.

            Funeral services are 10 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Parkdale Baptist Church with Bro. Kenny Worbington, Bro. Bob Bridges and Stanton Veazey officiating.  Burial will be in the Parkdale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Larry Moon, Ron Miller, Robbie McCain, Jackie McCain, Steven Otwell and Zach Pamplin.  Memorials may be made to the Parkdale Cemetery Association, c/o Mrs. Glenda Wells, PO Box 104, Parkdale, AR 71661.  

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home
